Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 September 2026

The Spirit of Naamrit

Naamrit is offered freely as a gift to parents seeking Vedic guidance for their child's name. By using this service, you agree to the simple terms below.

1. Free, Personal Use

Naamrit is free for personal, non-commercial use by parents and families. You may not resell, white-label, or commercially redistribute the guidance, name lists, or generated content.

2. Acceptable Use

  • Enter accurate information when requesting calculations; results depend on the details provided.
  • Do not attempt to overwhelm, scrape, or automate the service. Reasonable per-IP rate limits apply.
  • Do not submit names, reviews, or content that are offensive, unlawful, or infringe on others.

3. Content You Submit

Public name sharing is currently paused, and choosing a name or viewing a certificate does not publish family details to the Hall of Names. If sharing returns, it will require a separate affirmative choice. You may request removal of a previous submission through the Contact page.

4. Service Availability

We strive to keep Naamrit available at all times, but offer no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

5. Limitation of Liability

Naamrit, its authors, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on the guidance it provides. Please also read our Disclaimer.

6. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be addressed in good faith first; jurisdiction lies in courts of competent authority in India.
