How Naamrit came to be
What is Naamrit?
Naamrit is a word born from two sacred Sanskrit roots — Naam (नाम), meaning name, and Amrit (अमृत), meaning the divine nectar of immortality. Together, Naamrit means a name that carries the essence of the eternal — a name not merely chosen, but divinely derived.

When our son was about to be born, we found ourselves where every parent eventually stands — overwhelmed with choices and searching for something meaningful. We explored apps, books, websites, family traditions, and online forums. We looked at numerology charts, zodiac compatibility, popular Sanskrit dictionaries. Yet nothing felt complete. Every source gave us a piece, but none gave us the whole picture.
So we went to Varanasi.
"A name is not just a word. It is a vibration. It must be drawn from the divine — from the alignment of the stars at the moment of birth, the Nakshatra the child enters, the Rashi they carry, the Lo Shu grid of numbers that govern their path, and the ancient science of Jyotish that binds them all together. Those words stayed with us. We realised no single tool brought all of this together — the Vedic astrology, the Nakshatra, the Rashi, the Lo Shu grid, the numerology, the parent-child compatibility. So we built it ourselves, for our son — and then decided to share it with every parent who is on the same journey.
