A note on the nature of this guidance

In the Spirit of Reflection

Naamrit offers Vedic naming guidance rooted in Jyotisha, Nakshatra, Rashi, Lo Shu numerology, and Panchang traditions. It is intended as a thoughtful, culturally rooted starting point — not a substitute for personal consultation with a learned Pandit, Acharya, or your family elders.

Accuracy of Astrological Calculations

Nakshatra, Pada, and Rashi are calculated from the Moon's sidereal longitude with Swiss Ephemeris 2.10.3-5 and Chitrapaksha/Lahiri settings. A selected city supplies coordinates for timezone lookup and topocentric correction at an assumed elevation of 0 metres; without a city, the service assumes Asia/Kolkata and uses a geocentric calculation. If birth time is omitted, it estimates local noon, so the Pada is not confirmed. Results near a Nakshatra or Pada boundary may change with small input or calculation differences. We do not claim independently verified arc-minute accuracy. Read the calculation methodology for details.

Not Professional Advice

The guidance offered here is not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Personality, career, and relationship descriptions are interpretive in nature and should be received in that spirit.

Cultural & Religious Respect

Naamrit draws on Hindu, Vedic, and Sanskrit traditions with reverence. We do not claim to speak for any specific lineage, sampradaya, or religious authority. We encourage families to consult their own Pandit or Acharya for the formal Naamkaran ceremony.

Final Choice Belongs to the Family

The name you choose for your child is yours alone to decide. Naamrit is a humble companion on that journey — never a final authority.
